The first Lapala chair, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina back in 1998, had everything a classic needs to become such. Originally an indoor chair made of wicker, we decided to give it a second life but on the outside. That’s why we turned to more resistant materials: nautical rope and stainless steel.. Its tight plait makes it not just elegant, but extremely comfortable. And a little extra, it is a stackable chair, so it works fine in house, office and contract spaces. Someone said outdoor furniture lacked poise and ergonomics… No more.
