Hale is the outcome of De Vorm’s collaboration with Ivan Kasner. Ivan Kasner is an Amsterdam-based designer and the founder of Ivan Kasner Studio. His approach is based on the idea that each generation deserves its own decor: products enabling people to feel at home in their own time. Together with a team of creatives, Ivan works for different international well-known brands within the world of product- and interior design.

ABOUT

The design of Hale was inspired by the classic school chair. Simple, functional, no-nonsense. These principles are not only reflected in the way it looks, but also in how it’s mad.

The seat and the back of the chair are produced from PET Felt, recycled plastic bottles. This technology brought many traditional production steps to one smart 3D pressing technique. Hale is the outcome of De Vorm’s collaboration with Ivan Kasner. The shared values resulted in a product that is beautiful in its simplicity. Its fully customisable design allows for a wide range of applications in interior projects.
