PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

We started as a small furniture workshop, grew into the largest furniture producer in Greece, and today operate as a commercial furniture partner for complex and demanding projects. Over the years, our core has remained the same: honesty in the way we work, integrity in the way we collaborate, and professionalism in every detail.

OUR EXPERTISE

We combine excellent service with thoughtfully selected, high-quality products to ensure long-term value in every project. For architects & designers, we're the single point of contact that turns a concept into a functioning space. For corporate clients, we're the partner that eliminates complexity and protects the timeline.

MADE TO ADAPT

We collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and construction teams to shape spaces where people come together. From offices and universities to museums, hospitals, theaters, and hotels, every project carries its own parameters and complexity. Our role is to bring clarity and structure to the process. From the first conversation to the final installation detail.

A TRUSTED APPROACH

We represent more than 70 leading international furniture brands and deliver projects end to end. From specification and budgeting to coordination and installation, every stage is managed with precision and consistency. Operating locally and internationally, our constant priority is delivering excellence.

00s

Tsaoussoglou S.A. has contributed to some of the most significant projects of the new millennium.

Furnishing facilities for institutions such as Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, Geniki Bank and Ethniki Insurance, as well as leading companies in the maritime sector. Amphitheater and cinema seating has become a steadily growing area of expertise, including projects for Village Cinemas and the Municipal Theater of Piraeus.

90s

Over time, EBME was officially renamed Tsaoussoglou SA, marking the company's transition into its next phase of development and identity.

Through partnerships with leading European brands, Tsaoussoglou introduced the concept of Total Office Solutions in the Greek market. The company’s direction gradually shifted from retail and public sector projects toward corporate clients and multinational organizations.

80s

Tsaoussoglou went on to establish a leading position in the Greek furniture market, achieving a market share exceeding 50%.

The company’s portfolio expanded with selected seating models from brands such as Sedus and Dauphin, while the company became the first official dealer of Vitra and Herman Miller in Greece.

70s

During the 1970s, in parallel with the country’s economic growth, EBME significantly expanded its production capacity.

With a workforce of 600 people, the company influenced design standards in Greece and initiated export activity abroad. At the same time, it strengthened its offering by importing products from established European manufacturers. At its peak, the broader group employed close to 2,000 people.

60s

The growth of EBME was driven by Charalambos Tsaoussoglou’s vision for a modern and fully equipped industrial facility.

New production units were added to the Pireos factory, including advanced painting and metal processing facilities. The group also expanded into related sectors such as hospitality (Electra Hotels, Hilton Corfu), metal pipe manufacturing (Athens Pipe Works SA), wooden furniture production (Neostrom – Harsons SA) and mattress manufacturing (Macedonian Bed Industry).

50s

In 1954, the sons of Ioannis Tsaoussoglou founded the Greek Industry of Metal Furniture (EBME).

The company quickly became a key supplier for major public and private organizations, delivering projects for airports, stadiums, hospitals, convention centers, theaters, cinemas and hotels. At the same time, EBME collaborated with prominent European manufacturers, integrating international know-how into its production processes.

20s

The story began in 1925, when Ioannis Tsaoussoglou established a small furniture workshop in Thessaloniki to serve the local market.

As demand increased, operations were relocated to Athens, laying the foundation for what would become one of the most influential furniture companies in Greece.
