The base is made of 2 mm thick sheet metal, machined with a calendering machine to take on a cylindrical shape. Inside the cylinder are laser-cut metal plates; the upper plate has the attachments for the top, while the lower plate has the housings for the feet. The plates welded inside the base also have the function of stiffening the cylindrical sheet metal. The floor feet are adjustable in height and are positioned so that all screwed together still leave the cylinder a few millimeters off the ground. The metal is painted with epoxy powders in white or black colors or in all Quinti colors.
